Unit History: 54 Company - Royal Army Service Corps

54 Company - Royal Army Service Corps
54 Coy RASC were a troop transporting unit of TCVs’ (Troop Carrying Vehicles). The Company consisted of A.B.C & H.Q. Platoons.
 
The units’ were part of the 7th Armoured Division (the famed desert rats)for a short while, but then seconded to the newly formed 11th Armoured Division. A platoon, carried the Royal Irish Fusileers, who patrolled the East/West Germany Border in the Harz Mountains.
