Unit History: RN Air Station Arbroath

RN Air Station Arbroath
Situated in Scotland,this Royal Naval Air Station is given a ships name HMS Condor.
In the begining it was the base for No 2 Observers School and Deck Landing Training School.
Later it was used as the base of Naval Air Signals School. Paid off in 1971.
Then was taken over by RM as Royal Military Condor Barracks.

I am posting this on behalf on my Father in Law, John Chambers..... The best man at my wedding to Ilona Nawrot in November 1961, was stationed in RNAS Arbroath. His name was Robert Jepson...It would be great if he could get in touch again.... Thank you....
