RAF Holyhead
RAF Holyhead was situated in Holyhead, Wales, in the county of Angelsey. It was the most westernly RAF base in Britain. It is situated in the north of Wales. It is located on Holy Island which is connected to Anglesey by the Four Mile Bridge. During the nineteenth century its maritine importance was at its height.
