The White Helmets are the Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team. It is the oldest and best known team in the world. It was formed in 1927, as a joint display of horsemanship and motorcycling skills by Royal Signals Dispatch Riders.
There are 30 volunteer soldiers in the team and they tour between April and September. The riders are all qualified Tradesmen of the Corps. They ride 750cc motorcycles and put on spectacular performances doing crossovers, balancing and acrobatics.
The White Helmets play an important part in keeping the Army in the public eye and demonstrate the importance of teamwork and agility.
