Richard Merton Born 1 December 1881 in Frankfurt am Main ; died 6 January 1960 ) was a German industrialist , founder and politician.From November 1932 to March 1933 was Merton Reichstag deputy of the German peoples party. In 1936 the Nazis expelled him from public office because of his Jewish ancestry. In 1938 he was imprisoned in Buchenwald concentration camp and his property confiscated by the state. After release he managed to escape along with his wife, Princess Elizabeth of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, to England. In 1948 he returned to Frankfurt.

History
The RSHA (Reich Main Security Office) came into existence on 27/9/39 after being separate offices of the SD (security service) and SS (nazi paramilitaries) since the mid 1930's. AMT I & AMT II were formed officially on 1/10/39 but reorganised completely after March 1941, heads of department were regularly transferred to different departments and the Einsatz Squads of paramilitary murderers when new countries were invaded as all had perceived 'undesirables' to be eliminated.

Willi Seibert/Willy Seibert BORN 17. June 1908 in Hannover; Died 30. März 1976 in Bremen, NSDAP 1886112, SS 272375, Joined the RSHA in October 1939, and became Deputy Chief of RSHA III D On 1 August 1940, he was promoted to Sturmbannfuhrer and covered both IIID and IIID2 departments from 1 January 1941. In May 1941 he joined Einsatzgruppe D and returned in the summer of 1942 to the RSHA where he remained until the end of the war. He was arrested by the British after the war and spent some years in prison after being originally sentenced to death for war crimes and the sentence later being commuted.
