The RSHA (Reich Main Security Office) came into existence on 27/9/39 after being separate offices of the SD (security service) and SS (nazi paramilitaries) since the mid 1930's. AMT I & AMT II were formed officially on 1/10/39 but reorganised completely after March 1941, heads of department were regularly transferred to different departments and the Einsatz Squads of paramilitary murderers when new countries were invaded as all had perceived 'undesirables' to be eliminated.

Hans Ehlich born 1 July 1901, in Leipzig Died 30 March 1991 in Braunschweig. Captured by the British in 1945, despite using a false identity he was then interned. In October 1948, he was tried for being part of a criminal organisation, and sentenced to one year and nine months in prison. Several preliminary investigations in the sixties did not lead to further prosecution, despite there being much evidence he was significant in the work for the 'masterplan east' a massive ethnic cleansing genocide for Poland the the Ukraine. His ranks throughout the war years were: 30.01.1939 SS-Sturmbannführer, 01.08.1940 SS-Obersturmbannführer, 09.11.1941 SS-Standartenführer NSDAP-Nr.: 821 556 SS-Nr.: 172 416 Bruno Müller Born 13 September 1905 in Strasbourg , Died 1 March 1960 in Oldenburg, bacame the head of Division IIIB4 of the Reich Security Main Office & was also leader of an Einsatzkommando in German-occupied Poland and Sonderkommando 11b in the Soviet Union, as well as commander of the Security Police and the SD in Krakow , Rouen , Prague and Kiel. Despite there being a great deal of eye witness evidence of war crimes he was only held for around 6 years in internment/prison and released as part of an amnesty during the cold war.
