AFRICA-BOUND CONVOY Taken from one of the protecting aircraft, this photograph gives a view of the great convoy of British naval and merchant ships carrying men and war material for the great combined operations in French Colonial Africa. EXPLAINING EVENTS TO COME Rear-Admiral Sir Harold Burrough in his flagship explaining the operations that were yet to take place to officers and men on their way to Gibraltar. The assembling of the great fleet of ships at the Rock caused the Axis great uneasiness.
