DEVONSHIRE were in jovial mood when the cruiser docked at Plymouth after one of her trooping voyages from Australia. She had also been employed in troop movements during the Pacific W ar, and earlier had been on escort and patrol duty in the South Atlantic. Her next and last trooping trip will be from Colombo ; then the cruiser will proceed to Scotland, to be con­ verted to a cadet training ship to replace H.M.S. Frobisher.
