IN THE MIDDLE EAST SUBMARINES IN PORT An Australian destroyer, her guns and, just above them, Three submarines safely home again after patrol duty her kangaroo mascot at the masthead. during which vessels of a German convoy were sunk. LEAVING THE FLIGHT DECK In the loreground is the aircraft-carrier H.M.S. Victorious from which an Albacore aircralt is just taking off on a recon­naissance patrol. The battleship towards which the aircraft is flying is H.M.S. Kins George V
