This fleet sweeper, known a“das anne r,” is operating in East Coast waters in the van of our fishing fleets. Both in home and in distant waters the end of the war has, if anything, intensified the hazardous work of our minesweepers and their crews, whose stupendous peacetime task is described in pages 392-393.
