The King, who is Captain-General and Colonel of the Honourable Artillery Company, visited their headquarters at Finsbury on Saturday, and inspected the battalion which has volunteered for foreign service. The men afterwards left for camp. There was no set speech, but his Majesty assured the officers how pleafeed he was with the smartness of the force.— (Daily M irror photographs.) AN APPEAL TO ALL Ex-N.C.O.’S Lord K itchener appeals to ex-non­ commissioned Officers of any branch of His Majesty’s Forces to assist him now by re- enlisting at once for the duration of the W ar. PARTICULARS. Chiefly required to act as drill instructors. Pro­ motion to non-commis­ sioned rank immediately after enlistment. Age no obstacle so long as compe­ tent. No liability for service abroad if over 45. Pensioners may draw their pensions in addition to pay of rank at Army rates. Apply for information or enlistment at any recruit­ ing office, or ask O. C. Depot to re-enlist you in your old Corps. GOD SAVE THE KING
