\ g Y m jij, ii-- JOSEPH VISSARIO N OVITCH STALIN, undisputed leader of the Russian people since 1927, whose inspired generalship has resulted in unprecedented Soviet successes following the launching of a counter-offensive against the Germans on July 13.1943. He is depicted hereby the Russian artist Karpov wearing the uniform of Marshal of the Soviet Union, to which rank he was appointed on March 7,1943. by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet. His decorations include the gold medal of a Hero of Socialist Labour and the Order of Lenin.
