The Marines are trained to carryout landings, attack prepared positions, and face fire from live ammunition, and in a special assault course they are initiated in the highly-develoocd technique of unarmed combat and the overcomint: of formidable obstacles, ranging from barbsd wire to the scaline of hiah cliffs.
