IN TURKEY’S CAPITAL THEY ARE PRACTISING ‘ A.R.P.* THE TURKS are prepared for all eventualities. While war was still a far-off possibility air-raid precautions in Ankara were perfected, and the police were trained in rescue work. During all the practices gas masks were worn. Above, police are carrying a casualty to a dressing-station.
