The War Illustrated No 46 Vol 3 July 19th 1940

J'tly 19th, 1940 The War Illustrated These British sailors, waving to men ashore, are in possession of one of the French warships overtaken by tha Royal Navy on July 3,1940, at Plymouth, Portsmouth and Sheerness. They were boarded by superior forces, and, except in the case of the submarine“ Surcouf," there was no untoward incident.
