Walter served 5 years with the British Army –NorthWest Frontier India &Mesopotamia Enlisted /Served with the Londons County of London Cycle Battalion Private No 2192 or 740919 Regimental No. 205930 Rank Private Unit 2nd. Garr. Northumberland Fusiliers Discharged approx. 1920/21 The address shown on the cover page does not correlate with any address of Walter's that is familiar tome. I suggest that this could have been an headdress used as an Adelaide postal address. Perhaps it was the address of a friend. I have noway of dating this piece of writing .Additional Notes by Andrew Mount grandson of Walter Earnest Mount.
