History of 192 (HAA) Heavy Anti Aircraft Battery - 69th HAA Regiment Royal Artillery 1936 - 1944

In the Spring of 1938-192 and 199 Batteries took part in a procession through the Centre of Birmingham to celebrate George V's 25 years on the Throne -our uniform was as issued to the 1914-1918 chaps: Breeches. puttees tunic leather belt and stiff cap. Assembly waseasy row -we were of course still part of the RWR -two bands led the march and a salute was taken inCorporation Street opposite Rackbams. -3-
