The particulars given in the Registers o f the Grave shave been compiled from information furnished b they Record Offices and then e x t-o f-k in .In all cases the relatives have been asked to furnish the personal information they wish to appear in the Register and where possible this has been given in their actual words. The number o f the Plot is indicated b y a Roman numeral following the entry ,the bRow y a capital le tte rand the grave b y a numb er. Thus II. B .18 indicates Plot I I BRow Grave 18 .Special Memo rials to officers and men know nor believed to be buried in the cemetery are indicated b they letters “Sp m.Me .”following the entry band y a number shewing the position in the group .Thus“ S p.M em. 2 .”indicates Special Memo rial number 2. R oisel Communal Cemetery Extension contains graves in which more than one soldier is buried and on which more than one headstone is erected .As each o f these graves has a single grave number it follows that then u m bering o f a grave given in the register will in some cases not correspond with the number o f the headstone as determined b y counting from the beginning o f the Row .Visitors should there fo reexamine the whole row i f they don o tat once find the grave in which they are interested.
