English-German, German-English Military Dictionary

“ S p e c ia l attention has been devoted to the technical terms in use in the three Services. But the fact that both slang and sporting terms are also included gives it avery‘ true-to-life tone and will make it a most useful possession. The illustrations and tables at the back of the book are another strong point in its favour. From them the student can learn how to translate the ranks in the three Services and the parts of the rifle the pistol and the machine- gun. He can also find outwith ease the German names for the parts of a horse and his harness, the parts of a motorcar a parachute and an aeroplane. In the dictionary itself the branch of knowledge of which a word is a technical term is shown by a sign.” The Journal of the Army Educational Corps. SECOND IMPRESSION
