COLOURS OF TH E 1st BATTALION THE L O N D O N SCOTTISH were handed over for safe-keeping to Dr. R. F. V. Scott, of St. Colum ba’s Church of Scotland, on Jan. 12, 1947. The Battalion will remain in a state of “ suspended animation ” until recruiting for the new Territorial Army commences o.n April I, 1947, when the London Scottish will form a part of the 44th (H om e Counties) Division. St. tolum ba's, Pont Street, Chelsea, London, is the Regiment’s place of worship.
