H.M. THE INKING NORTH AFRICA VISIT TO CONVALESCENT SOLDIERS His Majesty arrived in North Africa on 12th June having flown direct from England. He received a most enthusiastic reception from these soldiers whom he saw enjoying a bathe near their convalescent home. TOUR AMONG UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES The King made a tour of inspection of American troops, including the large forces commanded by General Mark Clark. His Majesty is seen in a U.S. staff truck, passing along line of tanks.
