Alexander Baird
Private, Kings Own Scottish Borderers
Served in WW1. Killed in Action 14 May 1917, Battle of Arras, France. Remembered with great respect and gratitude. Like so many he made the ultimate sacrifice so selflessly. His surviving family remember him with pride at the dawning of the day.

He died on 25 September 1916 Age 25. Son of Dennis and Elizabeth Donovan, of Nottingham; husband of Elizabeth Donovan and father to Albert, Phillip, Frederick and Mabel. Remembered with Honour

Died, on 15/9/1914 in the successful but costly attack on High Wood,

Joseph Gerrard Keir
RASC Cpl to Captain
My father joined the RASC in1936 aged 18 serving as a Regular Soldier in the Middle East 1939- 44, Following which he remained in the Army until his retirement reaching the rank of Captain. He served his country with dedication and pride.

Will Skittles
Private, 6th Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment
Wounded in combat on July 29 1917. Died for his country on his 20th birthday, August 2 1917. Honoured in 2015 to visit his grave in Lijssenthoek Cemetery Poperinge Belgium. A brave young man gone too soon. Remembered by your Canadian family.

Charles James Ladbrooke
Acting Corporal West Riding Regiment
Joined up in January 1914. Went to France in May 1915. He was badly injured at the Somme in July 1916. He was one of the lucky ones he came home. He died in 1938 at the age of 60 and is buried in the war graves in Huddersfield cemetery.

Anthony Neary
Private 1st Royal Dublin Fusiliers
Killed in action at Gallipoili on 29 June 1915 aged 39. Remembered with honour at the Helles Memorial. Born in Co Mayo, lived in Hapton, Lancs leaving his wife and 3 young children (one being my granddad). Rest in peace. x
