Flight Sergeant R.A.F Bomber Command
My father David Wallace Maxwell Adam served in the R.A.F from 1939/1946. My dad was a Rear Gunner or Tail End Charlie in Lancaster Bombers, a position known to be highly dangerous. He was a lovely man, and I loved him. He died in 1974 aged only 53.
