Captain William Francis MacAlevey of the Field Amulance R.A.M.C.
My uncle William was killed in action during the Battle of the Somme on 27th. September, 1916. It is his 100th anniversary year. He served in the R.A.M.C. and expected to finish his medical studies at St. Mary's Medical School after the war. R.I.P.

In memory of my uncle Sgt (Air Gunner) Norris Mervyn Harrison (killed age 19). RAF 76 Squadron Bomber Command. Halifax III LK789 (MP-L) was shot down by an intruder on return from operations to Karlsruhe 25th April 1944.

Went to France in ww1 received military medal for bravery in the trenches,vwas injured on 3ocassions and was killed in action in1918 . We will treasure his memory,and remember him . From his nephew Kieth Alton and family.

Served in WWII. Took part in the invasions of Sicily, Italy, D-Day - Sword Beach and the assault on Walcheren (Netherlands). Survived the war to be a wonderful father. Passed over 16th March 2004 (aged 83). So proud of you Dad, miss you everyday.

Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery.Died 11th Dec 1943 aged 30 yrs of beri beri. The brave grandad I never met. Formerly policeman guarding the Kings gates at Sandringham House. Still greatly missed by his only child, with Florence Smith, Isabell Plumb.
