Private in Cavalry regiment during WW1
My grand father was in WW1 in 4th Dragoon Guards Cavalry reserve and went to France in 1915 to 1919 where he served in the Somme. Merely to have been in France WW1was definitely heroic. He died in 1959 and he was truly a great influence on my life.
