This collection is made up of the Honor Rolls of the officers and men who served in the different units and divisions of the United States Army during WWII.
These lists can be a valuable resource if you are trying to trace details of a WWII soldier. They contain the latest and most complete data available on all military personnel who were killed or died, or became and remained missing, between the President’s declaration of unlimited national emergency on May 27th, 1941, and the cut-off date of January 31st 1946, and included both battle and non-battle dead or missing.
No civilians are included in this database. Red Cross personnel and other civilians serving with the Army became casualties during the War, but procedure for reporting civilian personnel differs from that for reporting military individuals.
Period covered: 1939-1945
Please be aware that due to the way we collate, and cross reference our databases, some records will contain more information than that listed above.
