On This Day 18th June: Sir Winston Churchill delivers his speech 'their finest hour'

Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965) became Prime Minister in 1940. Churchill was a master at writing and delivering speeches to the nation. Some memorable speeches he made during the Second World War where 'blood, sweat and tears', 'we shall fight them on the beaches', 'the few' which helped inspire victory in the people of England. Just one month after he took over as Prime Minister he made the speech 'This was their finest hour' to the House of Commons on 18th June 1940. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVwI2zP-lfE]
