‘Who Do You Think You Are’ LIVE 2013
22-24 February 2013 Olympia, London.
Its back and bigger than ever, the popular TV Show ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ is coming to the Olympia, London for the world’s biggest family history Event and ‘Forces War Records’ will be attending the show for the first time.
It’s one of the best opportunities of the year to come see us and all the other family historians who can help you discover more ways of looking for your ancestors and their records to add to your family tree.
The show boasts to be the largest gathering of experts in genealogy companies, information workshops, one to one sessions and military experts on hand to help with documents and military memorial you may have or wish to learn more about.
Go to a workshop, as there will be talks with Q&A’s from experts like the National archives and the Society of Genealogists. So of these are free to attend and some require a £3 ticket which can be brought on the day or in advance.
You can also meet the celebrities from the TV show ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ as they will be taking to the stage to share their family history. Some of these include Tessa Dunlop, TV presenter Gregg Wallace, TV actress Samantha Womack, and Eric Knowles from Heirloom Detectives to name but a few.
Go to the ‘Photograph Gallery’ where experts can help give clues to unlocking the history of your family photos. Along with help to scan, edit, enhance and create a digital album and share with relatives and friends.
Come see the ‘Society of Genealogist’ as they will be on hand with their knowledge from different regions across the UK to help with any requires you might have.
The National Archives are returning again and having a few workshops over the three days to tell you more about the vast resources available through the National Archives website and new online catalogue.
Bring in your military memorial to the ‘Military Checkpoint’ as there are a number of military exhibitors, Forces War Records being one of them to help with records, artefacts, photos, documents and much more.
We hope that you can attend this show and look forward to seeing you there.
