  Dates: 1944 - 1964 The HMS Cockade was a sole named ship that belonged to the Royal naval C class of destroyer ships. The ship had a Displacement of 1,825 Tons. It was commisioned from the Yarrow shipyard, Glasgow on 29/09/1944 and took 933 days to build. After twenty years in service the ship arrived at Cashmore, Newport for breaking up on 07/1964.
