  Dates: 1955 - 1981 HMS Chichester (F59) was a Salisbury-class or Type 61 aircraft direction frigate of the British Royal Navy. Towards the end of her career she was partially disarmed for use as a Hong Kong guard ship and "showing the flag" deployments, due in part to her good range conferred by her diesel machinery.
