| HMS Apollo |
  Dates: 1972 - 1988 HMS Apollo, was a Leander class frigate. She was involved in the Second Cod War during 1973. She took part in the Fleet Review for the Queens Silver Jubilee in 1977. 1982 she was on patrol duty in the aftermath of the Falklands War. She was sold in 1988 to Pakistan and renamed Zulfiquar and reamins in service today. There have been eight other Apollo’s, thier roles have been varied and range from 1747 to 1939. The roles include a combat stores ship, a Leander light Cruiser renamed HMAS Hobart, and a minelayer.
