Dates: 1946 - 1967 HMS Alderney (P416), was an Amphion-class Diesel submarine of the Royal Navy, built by Vickers Armstrong, Barrow-in-Furness and launched 25 June 1945. Commissioned in 1946 she was decommissioned in 1967. She was finally sold for scrap in 1972. A second HMS Alderney is an Island class patrol vessel.
