Dates: 1905 - 1920 A member of the A Class submarines. Built at Vickers, Barrow-in-Furness. Comissioned in 1905 under the command of Lt.C.H.Varley. She mysteriously sank along side HMS Pactolus in 1917. The sinking had no apparent cause, she was beached by the crew of the Pactolus. She was recovered and eventually sold for scrap in 1920.
