Added on 12/11/2009based suez canal zone mu 109 closed when troops left the zone.
Added on 24/02/2010RAF Abyad was home to two different units one was called 109MU and the other was called HEADQUARTERS 205 GROUP the latter being living quarters only,service personnel were driven a couple of miles or so down the road for duty on HEADQUARTERS 205 GROUP situated between RAF Abyad & RAF Fayid 109MU Personnel were employed for duty actually on the RAF Abyad site
