Memories of RAF Swanton Morley
RAF Swanton Morley in 1958Written by Keith Watson "My first posting from basic training in the RAF Police,1958. Met and trembled in the presence of my new boss, Sgt "Spike" Window. Felt even worse when the boys told me all about him when I got settled in to my bedspace.Turned out he was a hard boss, but if you tried your best and got things done he was a gent."
