| HQ transport company RASC Kuala Lumper Malaya |
This unit was operating between Kuala Lumper and Batu Caves in Malaya about 1947/8 supplying transport to HQ Command Malaya. The compliment included members of the Royal Indian Army . Service Corps. It was a substantially tented unit with about 30 3x tonners numerous jeeps,motor cycles and several 15 xhwts. for some months I was a 2/Lt (MTO) HQ Platoon about 1947/8. Ithink the C.O.s name was Major Kearns.
