" Tom. I downloaded the medal cards and service/pension records of Thomas Irons some weeks ago and corresponded with Susan by PM and email. Also sent info from the 1911 census. Apart from his RE Waterways service he had previous service in the Monmouthshire Regiment. He was discharged on medical grounds, twice, if my memory is correct. "
