Dates: Unknown - 1953 RAF Gangodawila was the home of the RAF Main Communication Centre in Ceylon. Situated some 8 miles out of Colombo. The only female staff were a few locally employed ones. It Closed early in 1953 when the Commcen was transferred to RAF Negombo.
