Dates: 1942 - 112MU was situated on the Suez/Cairo road 26 miles from Suez.The unit had a bomb dump (X Group) 10 miles from Suez The main camp was next door to Fort Agrud.I was posted from 142MU Palestine to 112 in 1946 until 1948 as an Mt Driver.The camp was a big one-14 miles round the Peri wire.51MTC had a unit stationed there.
