| Flag Officer Second Flotilla |
FO2FEF was in fact the Flag Officer Second in Command Far East Fleet and was subordinate to COMFEF (Commander Far East Fleet) who was based in Singapore Royal Naval Dockyard. FO2FEF was mainly a seagoing command and was a different entity altogether from FOF2 (Flag Officer Second Flotilla) which was based in the UK at Plymouth. FOF3 which obviously was Flag Officer Third Flotilla FOF3 was made up of the Carriers and Amphibious Ships and was previously known as FOCAS based at Fort Southwick. FOF1 - Flag Officer First Flotilla was based in Portsmouth and situated at No3 The Parade in Portsmouth Royal Naval Dockyard.
