Dates: 1956 - 1967 The H.M.S TILFORD was a sole named ship, which belonged to the ’Ford’ class of seaward defence boats. The Ford class’es names were all chosen from villages ending in -ford. The ship had a displacement of 120 Tons and was launched from the Vosper shipyard, on 21/11/1956. The ship was sold to Pounds on 08/09/1967
