R.A.F. Heany was home to N.4 Flying Training School and 394 Maintenance Unit while I was there 1948/1949.It was approximately 15 miles from Bulawayo which was the capitol of the then Southern Rhodesia. It operated Tiger Moths and Harvard aircraft.

"This was the Engine Repair Section (ERS) at RAF Heany, S.Rhodesia in February 1952.I am top row, 4th from right. Other names I remember in the photo are "Taff" Healy, Bill Randle, "Paddy" McKeogh, Hickey, Ron English and his dog Sheila and the C.O. Flt Lt Nixon. Bob Isaacs. "
