| RAF Conningsby |
  Dates: 1940 - RAF Coningsby is a unit based in Lincolnshire, England. It is commanded by Group Captain Stuart D. Atha. It was first opened in 1940 as a bomber base. In 1953, it recieved its first jet aircraft the Canberra. Coningsby was the first RAF base to recieve the Tomado ADV and its replacedment the Eurofighter Typhoon. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight has also been in Coningsby since 1978 after it moved from RAF Cottishall.
