HMS Wave

The H.M.S WAVE was a 5th of the line named Minesweeper ship, which belonged to the ’Algerine’ class of ships.

The Algerine class of minesweepers, were launched during world war two.

The ship had a displacement of 860 Tons and was launched from the Lobnitz shipyard, on 18/08/1944.

The ship was sold and arrived at Kings, Gateshead on 04/04/1962 for breaking up.
