The H.M.S OBEDIENT was a 2nd of the line named Destroyer ship, which belonged to the ’O and P’ class of ships.

The ship had a displacement of 1540 Tons and was launched from the Denny shipyard, on 30/04/1942.

The ship was sold and arrived at Hughes Bolckow, Blyth for breaking up on 19/10/1962.

The first of the line was a ’M’ Class Destroyer launched from Scotts on 06/11/1915.
It was sold to Hayes, Porthcawl on 25/11/1921.
