The Catering Sqn at Honington is responsible to provide all ranks with a healthy and varied choice of food within a tight budget. Under the command of a Sqn Ldr the Sqn’s Chefs, Stewards and Catering Accountants provide all the catering tasks to the station. The Catering personnel can also deploy a full field kitchen with the training courses running at Honington. It also provides the legendary "3 meals in a small box" ration pack that keeps the RAF Regiment going in the field. Contrary to popular belief the ration pack has improved over the years! The Sqn is also responsible to provide Food Hygiene training to the instructors and support staff on the station.
