HMS Chailey

Dates: 1954 - 1969

The HMS Chailey was a sole named ship that was part of the Ley Class Minesweepers and built at the Saunders Roe shipyard.
The Ley class was launched between 1952 - 1955 and included HMS Dingley, HMS Aveley, HMS Brearley, HMS Brenchley, HMS Brinkley, HMS Broadley, HMS Broomley, HMS Burley, HMS Chailey and HMS Cradley.

The ship was Sold on 04/06/1969 for breaking up at Canvey Island.
