| HMS Fox |
 Dates: 1969 - 1998 Listed as a Survey Vessel. Built in 1969. Sold in 1989. 15th Vessel to bear name HMS Fox, the previous was 1893-1920 and served against the Turkish during World War One bombarding Turkish ports and intercepting enemy shipping. The first HMS Fox was captured from the French in 1650 and used as a fire ship in 1656. Fox was sold to J Marr in Hull and run as a survey vessel It was leased by Wimpol of Swindon who now no longer exist, they were taken over by Oceaneering. I dont know what happened to Fox after 1994.
