1943 to 1944 : 14 (Pilot) Advanced Flying Unit with Oxfords.144, 404, 405 and 489 Sqns with Beaufighters of the Dallachy Strike Wing.
1944 to 1945 : 489 Sqn RNZAF with Beaufighters on shipping strikes.
1944 : 524 Sqn with radar-equipped Wellingtons.
144 and 455 Sqns disbanded here 25/5/45, 404 moved to Banff 3/45.
Royal Navy 838 Sqn with Swordfish under Coastal Command control.
1945 to 1958: became Territorial Army training centre.
