The Royal Engineer Armoured FightingVehicle Driving and Maintenance School is located within the Armour Centre at Bovington Camp in Dorset. The Armour Centre is the British Army’s Centre of Excellence for training in the core skills of armoured warfare using Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs). These skills include AFV driving and maintenance, together with the operation of associated weapon systems and communication equipment. Royal Engineers who have chosen Armour as there trade,are taught the use, operation and maintenance of the Roya Engineer Armoured Vehicles, these include he new Royal Engineer vehicles TROJAN, TITAN and TERRIER.
