Royal Signals Catterick Camp

Catterick Garrison is a major Army base located in the North of England. It is the largest British Army garrison in the world and has a population of around 12,000. It was founded in 1908 and given the name Richmond Camp. In 1915, it was renamed to Catterick Camp.

The Royal School of Signals School of Music had been based there since 1921 when it was set up. In the 1970s, however, it moved to Blandford Forum in Dorset.
